The first article "I Want a Wife" by Judy Brady was a very feminist view of an everyday issue of gender inequality. Brady was being very satirical and descriptive about how she feels the role of a "wife" is like. She wanted to bring the point that women aren't just objects that men can control, and use as an excuse to everything.

The second article "Men----It's Their Nature" by Christina Hoff Sommers is more fact and study centered then the other article. This one seems a lot less opinionated then the first article. What Sommers is saying in this article is that scientifically men are naturally more aggressive and risk lovers. No matter what environment you put them in they will show their true self, it is not a choice that they can act more feminine, or even more masculine.

Im going to analyze the second article cause i can better relate. The second article is a lot less opinionated, and backs up its statements with facts. The studies made this paper more reliable and convincing every though the first article uses satire to persuade you, facts always outweighs opinion.

  1. In a summary, try to be very direct with the main ideas the author is trying to get across to the reader. Your summaries didn't read like summaries and were a bit vague. Be specific about the key points the author is disecting in their articles. Watch repetition of these ideas, as well.

In your last paragraph, be sure to always evaluate your writing prior to publishing. I noticed several errors that could have easily been caught!
